Chipmunks at Home

Since he was a puppy my dog Kona was a strong bladder. So when she got older, it was not a surprise to me that I could leave alone for a very long time. The day I went to work and left for 12 hours, was one of those days.

I was greeted at the door when I got home a little subdued by a dog. It looked like he may be guilty of something. Thinking that I had to go immediately, I opened the door for him. He took a hesitant step in the closed area and urinated for a short time, then came back in less than a minute.

As thought, his bladder was not as good as it used to be, he must have peed in the house somewhere. I thought I could feel pee, but where. I wanted to clean up as soon as possible, so that there would be no stains on the carpet. I'm completely wrong, thinking it would help me find a place like pee it only put the sofa to watch in the hallway.

My house was not so great, should not take much time, but when looking for a damp place, which tend to use their limited sense that the sense of sight. Barefoot is needed in these situations. I felt all that seemed as if all the main floor and was about to go to the basement when I saw a small child running along the corridor. Kona looked at me and then in the direction of the track of what we have seen and then looked at me again. "Well, what should we do about it?"

Not knowing what exactly what I just saw, I froze for a few minutes in the hope of seeing him again. l was in the direction I saw him running like Kona now lead the way. He was in the room, but wait, there was another that crossed the aisle in the House race and another followed.

"What's going on here?" I said aloud, "What is that?"

I turned to the room saw another in the corner of the closet.

"It's a squirrel!" I whispered

Everything made sense to me now, how Kona acted guilty, short pee, eyes in the lobby. She knew what was going on and was probably entertained all day by squirrels.

I called the exterminator and within two hours they had at least 3 small pots sitting in my house. Kona sniffed squirrels and the destroyer would catch them. He basically let a squirrel has a bit of space and then cut off his escape route. For example, when we were behind the sofa, he pinched one hand and the squirrel would have to run to the other end. At the other extreme would be a waiting cage.

In the squirrel came down the hatch. As the destroyer left the house, Kona sniffed enthusiastically around the stove. "It seems that your dog has found a little more," he said.

The summit came out relatively easy and of course there were 2 other squirrels crawling on the hot pan.

In total, we found six squirrels in my house that day on May 2 never found, though there was little sense of smell of man's best friend.
